PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation-sensitive resin composition for forming an insulating film of a display element, the resin composition excellent in general characteristics required for a radiation-sensitive resin composition such as sensitivity to radiation, and in storage stability, and capable of reducing adhesion failure of an insulating film.SOLUTION: The radiation-sensitive resin composition for forming an insulating film of a display element comprises: a first polymer which has at least a second structural unit in a first structural unit including a carboxyl group and the second structural unit having a carboxyl group protected by a protecting group, and a third structural unit including a crosslinking group; a second polymer which has at least the first structural unit of the above first structural unit and the second structural unit, and the third structural unit; and a radiation-sensitive acid generator. In the composition, a difference between a first protection rate that is a molar ratio of the second structural unit in the total molar number of the first structural unit and the second structural unit in the first polymer, and a second protection rate that is a molar ratio as above described in the second polymer, is 5 mol% or more and 70 mol% or less. |
