<p>PURPOSE: A quick dialing method and a mobile terminal using the same are provided to implement quick dialing by reading out a phone number from a memory through the searching operation for an abbreviated number. CONSTITUTION: A control unit(180) reads out a phone number associated with an abbreviated number from a memory. The control unit changes the abbreviated number by responding to the abbreviated number search command, and reads out the changed abbreviated phone number and another phone number associated with the changed abbreviated phone number from a memory. In addition, the control unit tries to make a call to a phone number displayed on a display module(151) by responding to the call command. The display module displays the abbreviated phone number, the phone number associated with the abbreviated phone number, the changed abbreviated phone number, and another phone number associated with the changed abbreviated phone number.</p> |
