An automatic stirring device 1 for stirring foodstuffs in an enclosed turntable-equipped oven, such as a microwave oven, comprises a base 2 configured to rest on an oven turntable; an upper section 3 configured so that a foodstuff container can rest on the upper section; a connector 4 comprising a connection means 5 configured to connect between the base 2 and upper section 3 so that rotation of either the base 2 or upper section 3 causes rotation of the other, and a tilting means 6 connecting between the base 2 and upper section 3 so that the upper section 3 is held at an angle to the base 2, the tilting means 6 further configured for rotation independently of the base 2 and uppersection 3, and; a constraining means (9) configured to extend from the tilting means to hold the connector portion stationary in use. The constraining means may comprise a plurality of legs that extend outwards from the tilting means. |
