<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To favorably suppress the enlargement of an oil pump accompanied by the arrangement of a flow rate adjusting valve which adjusts a communication state between a discharge port and a suction port without complicating an oil passage structure.SOLUTION: In this oil pump 1, a flow rate adjusting valve 10 which has an input port 11 communicating with a discharge port 52, an output port 12 communicating with a suction port 51, and a spool having two lands 141, 142, and adjusting a communication state between the input port 11 and the output port 12 is arranged in a pump cover. The suction port 51 and the discharge port 52 are separated from each other so that both two engagement parts 8, 9 of an inner rotor and an outer rotor 3 are not overlapped simultaneously on either the suction port 51 or the discharge port 52 when viewed from the axial direction pf the inner rotor, and a length of a pressure regulating chamber 16 which is defined between the two lands 141, 142 of the spool 2 of the flow rate adjusting valve 10 is shorter than a distance between the two engagement parts 8, 9.</p> |
