PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a fiber-reinforced composite capable of producing a fiber-reinforced composite having a desired shape and excellent mechanical strength, impact absorption performance and lightness with high production efficiency.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing a fiber-reinforced composite which comprises: a step of heating a lower-side fiber-reinforced plastic layer formation material containing a reinforced fiber impregnated with a reinforcing synthetic resin at a temporarily moldable temperature; a step of disposing foamed particles or foamable particles on the lower-side fiber-reinforced plastic layer formation material before and after the heating and during the heating; and a step of temporarily molding the lower-side fiber-reinforced plastic layer formation material along the lower side mold.
