PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell culture container in which a uniform paracrine effect on each of cells held in microwells can be expected, and in which the observation of the cells under a microscope can be easily performed.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a cell culture container. The cell culture container includes: a bottom part and a side wall; and a cell holding part in which eight or more microwells for holding cells are arranged on the sides and vertices of a parallelogram on the bottom part. The numbers of the nearest microwells to each of the microwells arranged on the sides and vertices of the parallelogram are equal to each other.
