<p>The present invention provides a molded coal and a manufacturing method, wherein the molded coal is manufactured by using pulverized coal produced in the treatment processes such as transportation and drying of raw coal (coal), or a coal mixture consisting of raw coal (coal) and pulverized coal, as raw materials, and adding a water soluble binder. According to the present invention, the molded coal is manufactured by a manufacturing method of a molded coal using pulverized coal, which is characterized by evenly mixing and molding an aqueous PVA solution (1-50 wt% of concentration) to 100 parts by weight of pulverized coal, or a coal mixture consisting of raw coal (coal) and pulverized coal. The molded coal according to the present invention has an effect of improving the compressive strength, which allows to make cokes with a higher strength. Furthermore, the molded coal according to the present invention has a low powderization rate of the molded coal so as to minimize the powderization due to falling while transporting molded coals, thereby reducing the loss of the molded coal (raw coal), having an economic effect and preventing deterioration of the working environment due to dust generation.</p> |
