Ultrasound Transducer, Ultrasound Medical Imaging System and 3D Ultrasound Image Generating Method

Provided are an ultrasonic transducer and an ultrasonic medical imaging apparatus capable of automatically controlling the obtainment range of an ultrasonic image. The ultrasonic transducer is linearly transferred and continuously generates a cross-sectional image for a 3D image configuration. The ultrasonic transducer includes an array device which is composed of a plurality of piezoelectric elements and a transfer unit which linearly transfers the array device. The ultrasonic transducer determines the obtainment range of the cross-sectional image by grasping the contour of an object to be inspected.
