Disclosed is an apparatus for mounting an airbag module, which is capable of mounting the airbag module in a steering wheel. The apparatus comprises: a mounting plate having the folded airbag therein, and having an inflator hole in which an inflator is mounted; a mounting spring with a spring arm capable of being rotated toward the center of the inflator hole so that the mounting plate can be elastically fixed to the steering wheel; and a spring stopper installed on the mounting plate, and restraining the spring arm on a position to separate the mounting plate from the steering wheel. According to the present invention, the mounting plate is capable of being easily separated from the steering wheel. |
