The present invention relates to anode active material including transition metal-metaphosphate of M(PO_3)_2. Here, M is any one or a mixed element of two or more kinds selected from a group including Ti, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Ru, Pd, and Ag. The anode active material of the present invention includes only transition metal and phosphate without using lithium which has the continuously increasing costs, and is stable and has excellent conversion reactivity, thereby improving capacity properties.
