<p>The present invention relates to a route updating method and routing device, the route updating method comprising: when the topology of an STP network connected to an AF of a VLAN changes, clearing the MAC address of the VLAN in the AF using the AF as an ingress routing bridge, the VLAN accessing a TRILL network via the STP network; and multicasting in the TRILL network a MAC withdraw instruction for instructing a receiver to clear the MAC address of the VLAN using the AF as the ingress routing bridge. By multicasting a MAC withdraw instruction in a TRILL network, an embodiment of the present invention enables a receiver to timely clear the MAC address of a VLAN using an AF as an ingress routing bridge, realizes rapid aging of MAC addresses, and prevents a traffic black hole, thus reducing the probability of data packet loss, and improving TRILL network performance.</p> |
