The filter pan comprises a frying pan with a hole in the wall of the pan 4 connected to a reservoir 1 in the handle. The hole is covered by a mesh filter 2 which prevents solid particles being drawn into the reservoir. In use the pan is tilted with the handle angled downwards (fig 5). Fat flows though the mesh filter and into the reservoir, where it is retained. The reservoir 3 is made from heat resistant materials, and may be removed for cleaning or emptying. |
