<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The loop has a base plate on which a loop element (11) is arranged with a hollow part for receiving and facilitating gliding of a lace. A lace locking element (12) includes a toothed surface (18) co-operating with the lace for preventing the gliding of the lace in an unlocking direction, and for allowing the gliding of the lace in a locking direction. The locking element is mounted in rotation around an axle (17) on the base plate with a compression spring. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used for positioning and locking a lace on a sport shoe and clothing (claimed). #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The lace has reduced length and is locked efficiently using the locking element. The loop allows a user to remove or position the lace against the loop by manipulations carried out with the lace and the loop without the locking element. The loop facilitates the use of lace with a grip at an end of its stands for facilitating manual traction. The configuration of the loop permits complete liberation and automatic reinsertion of the lace by simple manual traction on the lace without manual intervention.
