<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly switch over from a large supply current to a small one in a light emitting display medium causing a light-emitting element to emit light by supplying the current by stored power. <P>SOLUTION: In a light-emitting display medium having a boost type constant current unit 50 storing power by converting an input voltage to a constant current, organic EL elements 33a-33c driven with a constant current by supply of a current by the power stored in the boost type constant current unit 50, and a control unit 60 controlling the light emission luminance of the organic EL elements 33a-33c by controlling a value of the current supplied from the boost type constant current unit 50 to the organic EL elements 33a-33c, a discharge path 70 for discharging the power stored in the boost type constant current unit 50 is included, and when the light-emitting organic EL elements are switched over from the ones having high light emission luminance to the ones having low light emission luminance, the power stored in the boost type constant current unit 50 is discharged via the discharge path 70. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
