PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a division bar for an automobile which is compact and excellent in vehicle body assemblability, and suppresses generation of striking sound by rattling of door glass after assembly.SOLUTION: A resin division bar 100 for an automobile is constituted by integrally extruding: a glass run 10 which is fitted approximately in a vertical direction between lifting door glass 1 and a fixing panel 2, and has a body part 11 with an approximate U-shaped cross section, and lips 12, 13 on the inside and outside of a vehicle which slide and contact the door glass 1; and a holding part 20 which supports the fixing panel 2, and comprises: a metal core material 17 with the approximate U-shaped cross section buried in the body part 11; and a soft material 30 which is provided on an inner surface side of a bottom wall 11c of the body part 11 so as to vertically extend in an entrance direction of the door glass 1, and does not contact an end 1a of the door glass 1 when the door glass 1 lifts at a normal reference position L while the soft material elastically contacts the end 1a of the door glass 1 when the end 1a of the door glass 1 enters the side of the bottom wall 11c of the body part 11 of the glass run 10 from the reference position L. |
