<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt conveyance device that can maintain cleaning performance of a scraper cleaning the rear surface of a belt for a longer period, and an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A belt conveyance device 30 includes a movable belt 31 that conveys, while carrying, a toner image directly or with a transfer material, a scraper 37 that is brought into contact with the surface on the opposite side of the surface of the belt 31 on which the toner image is carried, and a holding part 38 that holds the scraper 37 at the end on the opposite side of the end of the scraper 37 in contact with the belt 31, where the scraper 37 has the rigidity larger at the end in contact with the belt 31 than at the end held by the holding part 38.</p> |
