<p>A signal light unit for a motor vehicle or the like comprises at least two lights, each comprising a lamp (10, 10'), a compartment (20, 20'), and a closure glass (30). The compartments of the lights are made in a single piece by moulding and each comprise a flange (28, 28') for mounting the associated lamp and at least one cheek (24, 24', 26) for separation from the neighbouring light or lights. A region of the glass which extends opposite the exit openings of the compartments is inclined with respect to a plane transverse to the axial direction (A) of the vehicle. According to the invention, the cheeks and the flanges extend in the same direction (AC, AC') which is substantially inclined with respect to the axial direction of the vehicle and is parallel to a mould-release direction (DD) of the compartments. The tool for moulding the compartments is substantially simplified thereby. <IMAGE></p> |
