<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce costs and prevent reduction in quality of images.SOLUTION: A sheet peeling device peels, in fixing a toner image formed on a sheet by applying heat and pressure to the sheet conveyed at a nip part, which is formed by a heating roller 202 including a heater 201 and a pressure roller 203 brought into pressure contact with the heating roller 202, the sheet from the heating roller 202; and includes an air pump 301 that generates compressed air, a regulator 302 that adjusts the air pressure of the compressed air, a solenoid valve 304 that opens and closes a valve included therein to spray the compressed air transferred in a compressed state from the regulator 302 through a duct 320 to the heating roller 202, an air nozzle 305, and a control unit 300, where the control unit 300 stops the generation of the compressed air by the air pump 301, and subsequently exhausts, a plurality of times, the compressed air in the duct 320 through the solenoid valve 304 for a predetermined time, so as to reduce the air pressure in the duct 320.</p> |
