The present invention relates to a heater resistance detector comprising: a power control portion controlling an alternating current power using a triac in a housing; a warm water heater heating portion which heats up a warm water heater with a controlled alternating current power; a comparator made to determine the propriety of the resistance value of the warm water heater on the basis of a measured voltage between both ends of a shunt resistance of the warm water heater; and a control portion. In addition, an operation method of a bidet including the heater resistance detector is provided.
