The present invention relates to a composition for controlling pathogen and improving resistance in a plant comprising a lacquer tree extract as an effective component, and more specifically, to a composition for controlling pathogen and improving resistance in a plant comprising a lacquer tree extract as an effective component, to a method for controlling pathogen and improving resistance in the plant comprising a step of treating the composition into the plant, and to a biofertilizer in the plant comprising the lacquer tree extract as an effective component. The lacquer tree extract of the present invention can be safely supplied to a consumer as urushiol which is a toxic material causing allergy is removed, and promotes initial rearing of the plant. Also, genes related to plant pathogen defense which becomes a problem when cultivating are strongly expressed so that the extract actually shows resistance to virus disease. Accordingly, the lacquer tree extract of the present invention is safe to a user, and can be used as a biofertilizer for controlling pathogen and improving resistance in the plant useful for agricultural crops.
