PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device, program, and method for estimating the occurrence position of a future event from communication histories of many users.SOLUTION: The device for estimating an event position by using communication histories of many users carrying portable terminals includes: connection history preservation means which preserves, for one communication of the portable terminals, a log in which a communication start station and a communication end station are recorded; communication station counting means which calculates appearance frequencies of communication end stations for each communication start station in every prescribed time interval; appearance frequency recording means which records the appearance frequencies with time; abnormality determination means which compares appearance frequencies in a present time interval with appearance frequencies in past time intervals, which are recorded in the appearance frequency recording means, to determine normality or abnormality in accordance with the difference between them; and event position estimation means which, if abnormality is determined, estimates an event position in which a plurality of oriented segments from communication start stations to communication end stations, which are related to the appearance frequencies in the present time interval, are integrated. |
