PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure strength and heat insulation property of a wall structure, and to simplify the wall structure.SOLUTION: A block 10 according to one embodiment of the invention functions as a structural material which bears structural resistance as the block 10 is reinforced by a plurality of reinforcement bars 17a-17f. The block 10 is solidly formed by using lightweight cellular concrete having heat insulation performance as main material, thus functioning as a heat insulation layer over a total width of the block 10. Because, in such a way, the block 10 itself has functions as structural material and as heat insulation material, the block 10 enables strength and heat insulation performance of a wall structure 1 of a masonry structure formed by stacking the blocks 10 to be secured and allows a wall configuration to be simplified.
