The invention relates to a strain of Bacillus subtilisUsa2, DSMZ deposit number 23654, for fighting the soil phytopathogenic agents, stimulating plant growth and for the controlled biodegradation of vegetable material within conservation agriculture exerting beneficial activities upon crops plants due to the protection activity against soil phytopathogenic fungi Fusarium graminearum, Alternaria spp, Botrytis cinerea, Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, Sclerotium cepivorum, Gaeumannomyces graminis, Phytium debaryanum, Verticillium dahliae, Rhizoctonia solani, Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. radicis-lycopersici, Sclerotium bataticola, for in-situ production of plant growth factors and the capacity of the controlled degradation of vegetable material while forming polyamines, compounds increasing the resistance to biotic and abiotic stresses. This beneficial actions are materialized by production increase in sunflower crops obtained in conservation agricultural system wherein the costs for using herbicides and performing the tillage are reduced. |
