The present invention provides a method and apparatus for configuring neighbor relationships for network elements in the network sharing. The method comprises: establishing a table for the neighbor relationships distinguished by the specific identification information, the specific identification information including at least one kind of the following information: carrier information and Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN) information (101); when a User Equipment (UE) being connected, handed over or reselected to a destination network element, obtaining the specific identification information of the UE (102); handling the UE according to the table for the neighbor relationships and the specific identification information of the UE, or updating, according to the specific identification information of the UE, the table for the neighbor relationships corresponding to the specific identification information (103). According to the method and apparatus in the present invention for configuring the neighbor relationships of the network elements in the network sharing, the specific identification information of a UE is obtained by setting the table for the neighbor relationships, thus it is capable of avoiding, as far as possible in the subsequent operations, a UE from being handed over to a network element to which the UE is not permitted to access. |
