The intracorneal lens (1) comprises a circular main body having a convex front surface and a convex rear surface. The convex front surface has a single uniform radius of curvature and the concave rear surface has another radius of curvature. The radius of curvature of the concave rear surface is greater than the average radius of the cornea by 0.1 millimeter to 2 millimeter. The concave rear surface has two zones with different radius of curvatures. The lens has a central opening (4), which is concentric to the optical axis.
