PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform an analysis in advance as to whether data can contribute to locality.SOLUTION: A data access analysis program causes a computer to execute processes of: determining a transition matrix from history information on data access; calculating an entropy rate per transition count using the transition matrix; determining a correlation degree of the data access on the basis of the calculated individual entropy rates; and arranging data to a disk according to the correlation degree.
