<p>The purpose of the present invention is to provide a mobile terminal capable of providing an unlocking function with high security and an operating method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a mobile terminal includes: a memory configured to store an authentication touch pressure pattern, a display unit configured to receive touch pressure for each of a plurality of first touch inputs as a user input; a touch sensor configured to sense touch pressure for each of the first touch inputs; and a control unit configured to determine whether a touch pressure pattern for the sensed first touch inputs corresponds to the authentication touch pressure pattern, and to control the mobile terminal to be unlocked when the touch pressure pattern for the sensed first touch inputs corresponds to the authentication touch pressure pattern.</p> |
