<p>The present invention relates to a graphite purifying apparatus and a graphite purifying method obtaining graphite highly purified by performing high temperature degradation on silica, alumina, iron oxide and the like contained in graphite by generating nitrogen plasma under anaerobic atmosphere and concentrating the energy of the nitrogen plasma on low purity graphite. The graphite purifying apparatus according to the present invention comprises: a microwave generator (10); a nitrogen supplier (20) which allows the inner space of the purifying apparatus to be an anaerobic space and supplies nitrogen gas for producing plasma flame; a raw material supplier (30) which supplies low purity raw graphite powders to the purifying apparatus while storing the low purity raw graphite powders; a graphite crucible furnace (40) which removes impurities by decomposing and evaporating the impurities in the raw graphite powders by maintaining high temperature environment; and three stage serial continuous cyclones (50, 60, 70) which sequentially separate and collect high purity graphite powders produced with impurity gas decomposed and vaporized in the graphite crucible furnace (40). The highly purified graphite according to the graphite purifying apparatus and graphite purifying method has high effective value on entire high-tech industries such as a semiconductor, a fine chemistry material for a display, a solar cell, graphene, a secondary battery and the like and is able to increase the economic value of low purity graphite 10-1000 times.</p> |
