<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of easily manufacturing a relay while easily forming an air-tight space.SOLUTION: A relay comprises two stationary terminals, a movable contact, and a driving mechanism for moving the movable contact. The relay further has; a first metallic container having an upper bottom part crossing with a moving direction of the movable contact, and a side face part that extends in the moving direction from a peripheral edge of the upper bottom part and on which a through hole for passing a stationary terminal is formed, and housing the movable contact and a stationary contact point in an air-tight space formed inside; an insulative stationary terminal stand air-tightly mounted to the stationary terminal to surround an outside part extending in a direction of each stationary terminal projecting outside the first container around the outside part with the projecting direction as a center; and an intermediate metallic member surrounding a circumference of the outside part and air-tightly jointed to the stationary terminal stand and the first container respectively. The intermediate member is jointed to the stationary terminal stand by soldering.</p> |
