<p>The invention relates to a device (1) comprising a plurality of spatially arrayed coherent quantum cascade semiconductor lasers, comprising a plurality of active structures placed in a plane (Oxy). The device comprises a plurality of stripes (10) forming optical guides and defined by at least one active structure, the stripes lying parallel to one another in an alignment direction (y) contained in the plane (Oxy). Each stripe (10) comprises at least one pointed first end (16). The pointed ends (16) of the stripes (10) of a first set (101) are oriented in the opposite direction to that of the pointed ends (16) of the stripes (10) of a second set (102) and penetrate between the pointed ends (16) of the stripes of the second set (102) over a penetration distance (d) defining a first coupling zone (30) via which a fundamental mode of the optical wave is transmitted via coupling of the first set of stripes (101) to the second set of stripes (102).</p> |
