<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily and highly accurately discriminating species and families of Curcuma plants. <P>SOLUTION: This invention provides a method for discriminating a species and/or family of a target Curcuma plant with the presence, the number or structure of amplified products as indicators by means of a PCR method with genome DNAs of the target Curcuma plant as templates by using a primer set which can amplify at least one intron selected from at least one of two introns contained in a DCS1 gene of turmeric, at least one of two introns contained in a DCS2 gene, an intron of a CURS1 gene, an intron of a CURS2 gene, and an intron of a CURS3 gene. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
