PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting an anomaly in a power supply circuit which permits an inverter to be started in a short time by shortening the time to detect an open anomaly in a power relay.SOLUTION: A CPU switches on a precharge relay 4 to start precharging a smoothing capacitor 11. If a voltage Vd of the smoothing capacitor 11 is lower than a predetermined value after a set time passes, the precharge relay 4 is switched off and anomaly handling is performed. If the voltage Vd is equal to or higher than the predetermined value, the precharging is continued and, on completion of charging, a discharge circuit 7 is turned on. After a power relay 6 is switched on, the precharge relay 4 is switched off to stop the precharging. After a voltage monitoring timer counts up to a discharge time T', if the voltage Vd of the smoothing capacitor 11 is equal to or lower than a determination value Vt, the power relay 6 is switched off and anomaly handling is performed. If the voltage Vd is higher than the determination value Vt, the discharge circuit 7 is turned off and the process is finished to exit the flow. |
