PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield wire for wire harnesses which enables improvement of wiring work and a method of producing the shield wire for wire harnesses.SOLUTION: Formation of shield part 3 by winding a belt-like shield member 4 around a wire 2 eliminates of work of inserting the wire 2 into the shield part 3 and improves wiring work. Since there is formed a superimposed part 41 in which shield parts 4 are superimposed together in the radial direction, the wire 2 is not exposed when the shield wire 1 for a wire harness is bent, leading to reliable prevention of leakage and penetration of electromagnetic waves.
