<p>A card edge connector is connectable to a card having a side edge. The card edge connector has a holding member extending in a first direction and a pair of arms each extending in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction from the holding member. Each of the arms includes an abutment portion and a spring portion. The spring portion is bendable elastically outward in the first direction. The spring portion has a latch and an abutting portion. The latch is engaged with the side edge of the card when the card edge connector is connected to the card. When the connected card presses the latch along a third direction perpendicular to both the first direction and the second direction, the abutting portion is brought into contact with the abutment portion so that the abutting portion regulates a movement of the latch in the third direction.</p> |
