The present invention relates to a method for controlling the temperature of hot water when a malfunction in a thermostat of a boiler is detected. Especially, if a hot-water switch inside the thermostat is turned on, the present invention determines whether the thermostat is normally connected or not after remembering a user hot-water temperature (S °C) set by a user to operate hot-water operation when the thermostat is normally connected. The present invention is characterized by determining whether the user uses hot water or not by detecting the state of a water-current switch if the thermostat is not normally connected, determining whether the user hot-water temperature (S °C) set by the user is higher than a burn-safety determination temperature (T °C) or not if the user uses hot water, setting the hot-temperature water at the hot-water temperature if the user hot-water temperature (S °C) is higher than the burn-safety determination temperature (T °C), setting the hot-water temperature at the user hot-water temperature (S °C) if the user hot-water temperature (S °C) is lower than the burn-safety determination temperature (T °C), and performing hot-water operation. Therefore, the present invention is capable of obtaining safety for using hot water in case of a malfunction of the thermostat and preventing inconvenience of resetting the hot-water temperature when the thermostat is normally connected. Especially, the present invention can improve productivity and reliability of the product remarkably by providing user convenience and safety for using the boiler. |
