<p>The present invention relates to a horizontal sealing apparatus for an open space by a foothold of a forklift which shields an open space formed by a foothold of a forklift in order to prevent the trespassing of an outsider or rodents. The horizontal sealing apparatus comprises: a first bracket installed part of an inside bottom of a forklift door shaped like a plate; a first penetration hole which penetrates the middle part of the longitudinal direction of the first bracket; a plate spring inserted into the first penetration hole and bends vertically; a first and a second supporting unit installed in the same position as the middle part of the longitudinal direction of the first bracket by corresponding to the first penetration hole, and forms a first and a second rotating hole respectively; a metal latch whose one end part hinges between the first and the second supporting units in order to rotate which forms a hinge hole to be matched with the first and second rotation holes, and whose other end part is extended in order to form a P-shape; and a bolt unit which penetrates the first and second rotating holes and the hinge hole in order to support the hinge coupling between the metal latch and the first bracket. Therefore, the horizontal sealing apparatus can provide an operator with a pleasant work environment by preventing trespassing of an outsider or rodents, preventing the loss of goods, blocking the inflow of foreign materials and bad smell, and increasing the energy efficiency of air conditioning and heating.</p> |
