<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for measuring transmission characteristics, capable of reproducing and looping back a received data stream without requiring high-speed processing. <P>SOLUTION: The device has a loop-back function of receiving a data stream from a measured object, converting the data to parallel data, performing necessary measurement, and then reproducing the data stream to transmit the same to the measured object.
