<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable further power-saving of the whole apparatus by suppressing power consumption of a reconfigurable device in a power-saving mode, in the image forming apparatus comprising the reconfigurable device.SOLUTION: In regard to a circuit module (TOP module) configured within a reconfigurable device at power-on, an image processing function put into an unused state in a power-saving mode and a circuit block of an output part (print engine I/F) are turned off at a shift to the power-saving mode. Thus, in the power-saving mode, power consumption of the reconfigurable device is suppressed.</p> |
