PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire a panoramic image capable of enhancing a subject etc. viewed by a photographer.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: imaging means for imaging a range including an object and at least an eye part of a photographer; image processing means for acquiring the image data of the imaging means; eye line direction determination means for determining the eye line direction of the photographer in the image data acquired by the image processing means; main object determination means for determining a main object in the object the photographer intends to image, on the basis of the eye line direction determined by the eye line direction determination means; and enhancement display means for performing enhanced display of the main object determined by the main object determination means.
