PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a micro chamber that enables a chemical reaction to be performed easily and in a small scale.SOLUTION: Provided is a micro chamber 1 for performing a chemical reaction, provided with a through hole 11 having a narrow part 13. Upon introduction of liquid from one side of the through hole 11, the narrow part 13 functions as a valve utilizing interfacial tension to enable the liquid to be held in at least a part of the through hole 11.
