<p>Disclosed are a touchscreen terminal device for supporting a dynamically displayed mouse UI in a server-based computing system in a terminal environment and a mouse UI supporting method thereof. The touchscreen terminal device for supporting a mouse UI includes a mouse generating unit, a mouse display unit, a mouse input unit, and a mouse control unit. The mouse generating unit generates the control information of a mouse including a mouse pointer and select buttons when a server-sided application begins to run by a terminal service provided from a server. The mouse display unit displays the control information of the mouse on a screen in response to a mouse event. The mouse input unit receives information that a user touches the screen. The mouse control unit transmits a mouse generation event to the mouse generating unit, generates a mouse event, such as the mouse′s selection or dragging input, in response to the user′s touch information transmitted from the mouse input unit, and transmits a mouse display event to the mouse display unit to control the operation and display of the mouse. Therefore, the mouse UI is provided on an image of an application run by a server so that a user can control the application conveniently and accurately using mouse commands.</p> |
