PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil antenna capable of forming a magnetic field in a desired direction with high efficiency while suppressing leakage of magnetic flux into a space other than a space in which the magnetic field is formed.SOLUTION: A coil antenna includes: a main coil 41 that is constructed by winding a conductor wire around a reference axis X1; and an auxiliary coil 42 that is arranged to be spaced apart from the main coil 41 by a set interval S set in advance and is electrically connected in series to the main coil 41 and through which the same AC curent as that flowing through the main coil 41 flows, wherein the auxiliary coil 42 is constructed by winding a conductor wire around the reference axis X1 in a direction opposite to the winding direction of the main coil 41 to have an inductance smaller than that of the main coil 41, and the main coil 41 and the auxiliary coil 42 are connected to a resonance capacitor 6 to construct an LC resonance circuit. |
