<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejection head in which local deformation of a nozzle plate center portion in the arranging direction of ejection ports due to stress generated with a heat energy is suppressed, and which hardly deteriorates quality of a formed image as a result.SOLUTION: A liquid ejection head 5 includes a nozzle plate 1, and an element substrate including energy generating elements for generating energy for ejecting a liquid. In the nozzle plate 1, a plurality of ejection port arrays where a plurality of ejection ports 2 for ejecting the liquid are arranged in a first direction, are formed in a second direction crossing the first direction. In the nozzle plate 1, a groove part 10 extending in the first direction is furthermore formed in which the length in the second direction on a center part of the first direction is longer than the length in the second direction on an end part of the first direction. The groove part 10 is formed at least between an end part of the nozzle plate in the second direction and the ejection port array arranged in the end part side.</p> |
