PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical receptacle that monitors light emitted from a light emitting element, and enables the light emitted from the light emitting element to be emitted in a direction along a substrate.SOLUTION: An optical receptacle 300 has: a first optical surface 310 that causes light L from a light emitting element 220 to be made incident; a reflection surface 320 that reflects the light L along a substrate 210; an optical separator 330 that separates the light L reflected upon the reflection surface 320 to monitoring light Lm and signal light Ls; a second optical surface 340 that causes the monitoring light Lm to be emitted toward a light reception element 230; and a third optical surface 350 that causes the signal light Ls to be emitted toward an optical fiber 400. The optical separator 330 has a plurality of division transmission surfaces 332 that is a vertical surface with respect to an optical axis of the light L reflected upon the reflection surface 320, and a plurality of division transmission surfaces 331 that is an inclination surface with respect to the optical axis of the light L reflected upon the reflection surface 320. The division transmission surface 332 and the division transmission surface 331 are alternately arranged in first and second directions. |
