<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for calculating an index for predicting growth potential of a company according to patent evaluation technique allowing specification of a causal relationship with economic activity. <P>SOLUTION: The company's growth potential prediction index calculation device has: a first patent index of each patent created from arrangement standardization data; a stock data accumulation unit accumulating stock data of listed companies; a right holder extraction unit extracting a right holder of applications to be performed with totaling processing; a decision unit deciding whether the extracted right holder is the listed company; a second totaling unit totaling the first patent indexes wherein the listed company is the right holder when decision results indicate the listed company, and setting it as a first company-classified patent index; a division unit dividing the company-classified patent index by an aggregate market value of the company, and acquiring an obtained value as a second company-classified patent index; and a first position calculation unit calculating a position occupied by the second company-classified patent index inside all the second company-classified patent indexes of a competition company group to which the company belongs. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
