<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless authentication device capable of saving battery consumption of a mobile unit. <P>SOLUTION: A mobile unit 100 transmits mobile unit identification information when receiving a transmission command from a fixed unit 200. When receiving transmission commands of which the reception interval is within a predetermined period a predetermined number of times or more, a halt determination part 104 of the mobile unit 100 determines to halt the mobile unit 100. A halt/start execution part 105 halts the mobile unit 100 based on the determination result.
