A method for controlling an electronic device that provides a reminder of a task is disclosed. The controlling method includes receiving an input of content of a task to be reminded; designating at least one related application that is linked with the task to be reminded; and generating and storing the task to be reminded, of which the content is to be displayed, using a predetermined event as a trigger. |
