PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber taking up and fixing tool capable of automating an operation for winding an optical fiber around a take-up part with narrow width.SOLUTION: A fixing tool comprises a disc-like substrate. A holding face for holding a terminal portion of a fiber between it and a collar part outside a bobbin is provided on a disc plane of the disc-like substrate, and a protrusion part projecting toward the bobbin is formed at one part on an outer peripheral side of the disc plane of the disc-like substrate. In a taking up method, a winding start side terminal portion of the fiber is held and fixed between a holding face of the fixing tool and an outer collar part of the bobbin, and one part of the fiber is pressed toward the bobbin by the protrusion part. The fixing tool and the bobbin are integrally rotated, so as to make the fiber ride over the collar part for taking up the take up part. |
