PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temporary holding jig which can be shared even if the number of poles and the number of stages in a connector into which a post-insertion terminal is inserted and a post-insertion terminal accommodation position are changed.SOLUTION: The temporary holding jig comprises one or more terminal holding materials (11) and an L-shaped positioning material (12). Each terminal holding material (11) is formed from a post-insertion terminal, a main body including holding grooves of openings before and after a wire in a portion connected to the terminal, and a cover. A connection part is provided on one sidewall of the main body, and a connected part is provided on another sidewall. The L-shaped positioning material (12) includes a longitudinal frame part abutted to an outer wall at one side of a connector, and a lateral frame part abutted to an upper wall of the connector. A mounting plate protrudes from an outer surface of one sidewall of the main body of the terminal holding material to the side of the connector in a freely removable manner, and a mounted part is recessed to be connected with the mounting plate on an inner surface of the longitudinal frame part of the positioning material in a freely removable manner. When the mounted part of the positioning material is connected to the mounting plate of the terminal holding material and a connector insertion surface of the terminal holding material is brought into contact with the terminal insertion side surface of the connector, the longitudinal frame part and the lateral frame part of the positioning material are externally fitted and held on an outer surface of the sidewall and an outer surface of the upper wall of the connector.
