<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accelerator device which can prevent falling of an energization member for returning a pedal to a full closed state.SOLUTION: A spring cover 16, which forms a housing space 11 for housing a return spring, has a fragile portion 163 provided at an end thereof engaging with a hiss cover 18. The fragile portion 163 is so formed that a thickness of the portion 163 is smaller than a thickness of a body part 161 of the spring cover. When a pedal is rotated in an accelerator opening direction, a hiss cover side friction member 58 applies a pressing force to the hiss cover 18 so as to push the hiss cover 18 to the exterior. This pressing force acts on a contact part 164 of the spring cover 16 via a contact part 182 of the hiss cover 18. In the spring cover 16, the fragile portion 163 is deformed by the pressing force acting on the contact part 164. Thus, deformation and fracture of the body part 161 can be prevented. Consequently, falling of the return spring can be prevented.</p> |
